in this post...

i am going to swear...so i apologizes now....

what the fuck does puerto rico have to do with our elections? i'm serious!!!

i saw this in the news a couple days ago.

they are not even a fucking state. why do they get a say in how this country is run? who the fuck are they? so u.s. territories are able to vote in our elections, but we can't/won't/don't govern them? what the hell is that?

my feeling is if they want to vote, let's put another star on our flag, and call 'em a state. case closed.

it has become my feeling that obama only did well there because he said he's been to fifty-seven states, and what the hell does puerto rico know about the united states?

i've got to tell you...this is bullshit. why do u.s. territories get a say? can anybody tell me?

[shalom...]

So I guess that's why they would care. But also...they don't vote in presidential elections. These are still the primaries and just the way the parties do things. And honestly if Clinton wasn't refusing to bow out gracefully...most of these primaries wouldn't even matter.

sure, i agree about your last point; but my question remains...what authority do we as a country have over them, and them to us? i always just thought that puerto rico was a separate country that we were just really nice too, and them to us.

so they are able to get a say in who is in our presidential election, but not to vote in our presidential election? who should be more upset us or them?
